ALANUR keeps on maintaining its support in the harmonization project for food supplements of the Pacific Alliance. The last round of meetings was held in the city of Lima on March 20th and 21st, 2019 with the objective of reporting the latest developments and coordinate the tasks required to complete the project.
The proposal, considered the most ambitious regional harmonization initiative for our sector, will bring a significant increase in the standards for the manufacturing and commercialization of food supplements. Once culminated, it will not only facilitate the work of Latin American regulatory agencies, but also improve consumer access to safe and high-quality products.
