On December 5th, the Latin American Alliance for Responsible Nutrition organized its last technical-scientific event of 2018 at the headquarters of DIGESA – General Direction of Environmental Health and Food Safety, in the city of Lima, Peru.
The workshop enjoyed the participation of relevant speakers from Australia, the United States, Brazil, Mexico and Peru, who shared scientific and regulatory information on a notable variety of topics related to food supplements and nutrition.
The great interest shown by the audience, composed by regulators from DIGESA as well as representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) and the National Center for Food and Nutrition (Cenan – INS), highlighted the success of the proposal while the latest trends in the food supplements sector from all over the world and Latin America were shared.
