ALANUR contributes in the development of the Workshop “Regulation of food supplements in Latin America” organized by SENASAG – Bolivia

A delegation of ALANUR, integrated by Yury Caldera, José Ortegón and Héctor González, contributed on September 11 in the development of the workshop “Regulation of food supplements in Latin America”, organized by the National Service of Agricultural Health and Food Safety (SENASAG) in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

During the workshop, said delegation gave 4 lectures, where the topics of the novelties and regulatory status of food supplements in Latin America, differences of the supplements with other categories and the structure and contents of food supplement regulation projects were discussed.

The event was attended by 23 SENASAG technicians from the registration, certification and surveillance areas of the 9 Departments of the country, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Health and representatives of the regional private sector.

In this event, ALANUR was recognized by the SENASAG authorities.
