A delegation from ALANUR, made up of Viviana Lima, Katherina Lozada and Yury Caldera, met on October 5, at the facilities of the Public Health Institute with Dr. Isabel Sánchez, head of the Department of the National Drug Agency and members of your technical team
At this meeting, an institutional presentation of ALANUR was made, highlighting the support given to the regulatory authorities of Latin America, in the development of national and regional norms and regulations on food supplements and their ingredients.
ALANUR agreed, at the request of the authority, to share reference technical documents on food supplements and ingredients.
The space was used to propose to the authorities the joint organization of a scientific workshop on food supplements. The authorities showed great interest in specifying an event of this nature and it was agreed as a tentative date in March 2018.
